K-Fair has been the largest international trade fair for plastics and rubber. Held once every three years, it is entering it’s 9th year of existence. It is the preferred place for the leading raw material producers, semi-finished product suppliers and machinery manufacturers to offer an overview of the latest technical developments, procedures and techniques, as well as future trends. The topic of this year’s fair is “Plastics shape the future”. It poses to deliver diversity, expertise and ingenuity focusing on functionality, aesthetics and sustainability of plastics.

“The backbone of “Plastics shape the future” will be seven theme days of talks, keynote speeches and panel discussions on “Plastics Industry 4.0”, “New materials”, “Lightweight Design”, “Marine litter”, “Youth and Education”, “Plastics meet Design” and “Resource efficiency”. Experts from the worlds of science, business and politics will be reporting on and discussing the economic, social and environmental challenges and potential solutions. Each theme day kicks off with a talk by an acknowledged expert and comes to a close with a panel discussion.” However there are still many more specials and exciting activities to look out for.

Known for having one of the broadest spectrum of international trade visitors and decision-makers K-Fair reported 218 000 trade visitors from 108 countries at the last fair in 2013.
